19th Avenue Farmers Market #1

The 19th Avenue Farmers Market story begins in 1960, when Vito DeFilippis Sr. started farming 40 acres of land in Uxbridge. Today, the third generation works with Top Tomato Foods and 19th Avenue Farmers Market to bring farm fresh produce to York Region.

Originally focused on cabbage, cauliflower and broccoli they have expanded into specialty crops offering coloured cauliflower, over 30 varietals of peppers, zucchini flowers and much more. Early season sees them stocked with flowers and perennials for the home gardener.

The De Filippis family continues to grow the best quality produce with the same passion that has driven them since 1960. The market is #1 on our guide map, it is open 7 days a week, Monday to Friday 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., Saturday 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., located at 2931 19th Avenue in Markham, Ontario.
