Rae Family Farms #19

The Rae family has been farming on their Pefferlaw property for nearly 200 years. Don and Brenda's ancestral operation is now overseen by the 4th generation of farmers Amy and Alan. They have been designated a Century Farm by the Junior Farmers Association of Ontario (JFAO) .

Cattle and lamb are naturally raised on the farm and the family utilizes the same barn shown here in 1900. Early season they offer asparagus and in June they open their fields for pick your own strawberries.

In addition to strawberries, asparagus, straw and hay, the Rae family sells all natural freezer beef and lamb, call or email year round for purchase. Number 19 on our guide map they are open during strawberry season Monday to Friday 9 am to 5pm, Saturday 9 am to 4 pm and Sunday 10 am to 3pm, located at 25347 Stoney Batter Road in Pefferlaw.
